Hyrum's Broken Arm

Last Sunday, November 2nd, Hyrum fell from the top bunk (Jonathan's bed) and broke his arm. He and Jonathan were suppose to be making their beds and getting their church clothes on to be ready for church. But, boys will be boys, and they got to horsing around and Hyrum chased Jonathan up to his bed. The story goes that Jonathan nudged Hyrum off the bed in just such a way that Hyrum fell, landing in such a way so as to break his left arm. I was just across the hall in my room and was to him just as he landed. He managed to break both bones, the radius all the way in half. Hyrum got to spend the rest of Sunday in the Emergency room with Dad and Grandma. The Dr. concluded that he needed to have surgery in order to completely break the ulna apart, enabling both arm bones to be re-aligned properly.
